I'm lit, bruh

I skate. I write. I create. I advocate.
I have Celiac Disease
There are parts of me that will always remain untamable, messy, and reckless.
Don't try to figure me out. It will only exhaust you.
I'm a sweet disaster.

I wanna be Abbi & Ilana when I grow up

Read my movie review of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. I may or may not think it's the greatest thing to exist because

Celiac Disease is a genetic LIFELONG AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE.

Symptoms are triggered by gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley,

and rye. There is NO CURE for this disease. Sticking to a Celiac safe

diet can help to manage symptoms, and quality of life depends on the

severity of the disease, which is different for each person.
There are over 300 symptoms associated with Celiac Disease, with the most common being:
 - vomiting
 - diarrhea
 - extreme weight loss
 - rash
 - vitamin deficiency

Those suffering with this disease must stick to a strict, 100% gluten free diet. To make this disease even harder to live with, labeling something gluten free IS NOT THE SAME AS Celiac safe.
We don't follow a fad diet. Sorry. Instead, we follow a diet that literally allows us to live. Untreated Celiac is life-threatening.
Your fad diet is not.

A Gluten Detection Service Dog is trained to sniff out gluten much like bomb dogs are trained to sniff out bombs. They are taught a signl to give to their owner that indicates whatever they've been given has gluten in it. Gluten can be found anywhere, from medication to toothpaste. Having a dog that can tell someone whether something has been cross-contaminated with traces of gluten is essentially life saving for those living with severe cases of Celiac Disease.
